Bee-Cool is dedicated to promoting social inclusion and empowerment of individuals with cognitive impairments, enabling them to actively participate in the society and reach their full potential. Through our creative and educational approach, we create job opportunities that align with their unique abilities, fostering their integration into the workforce and society at large.
Bee-Cool’s vision is to be a leader in driving a more inclusive and equitable society where individuals with cognitive impairments are recognized, valued, and provided with equal opportunities. By breaking down barriers and fostering understanding, we strive to create a society that embraces diversity and celebrates the unique talents and potential of every individual.

Leading Artist
Juan David graduated from high school in 2012. His passion for studying and learning new things led him to take painting courses and later graduate as a graphic design assistant from the Autonomous University of the Caribbean in 2023. Juan David loves to dance, travel and be with his family. His dream is to work. Bee-Cool was born because of him. Juan David has Down Syndrome.

Founder
Ana María studied psychology and has always been interested in helping people with disabilities or chronic illnesses. She is a patient and survivor of a chronic illness herself and lives with an artificial heart (HeartMate 3 LVAD). Ana María founded Bee-Cool as a response to her brother Juan David’s dream.

Content Creation
Alejandro is an experienced project manager who has worked with various clients in the automotive industry. He decided to join Bee-Cool to share his expertise and creativity, and to support his siblings with the project. He loves soccer, hiking and traveling. Alejandro speaks Spanish, English, Italian, German and Japanese.

Digital Design
Rena has 10+ years of experience working with individuals with physical, intellectual, and mental disabilities. Before joining Bee-Cool, she worked at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Rena is passionate about history, languages and travel, and she speaks Japanese, English and Spanish.
